Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER Fleet List

Current Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER Routes

Qatar Airways took delivery of its first Boeing 777-300ER in late 2007. The aircraft were delivered in Two Class configuration with 42 flat bed seats in Business Class and 293 in Economy. Qatar Airways initially resisted the temptation to go for ten abreast seating in Economy, however in 2016 they quietly began converting to ten abreast seating with narrower seats and aisles.  


Aircraft up to A7-BAM were delivered in large logo/large oryx livery with A7-BAL onwards carrying the large logo/medium oryx scheme


As with all operators Qatar Airways are impressed with the economics and freight carrying capacity of the 777-300ER and utilise the range of the aircraft on longhaul flights from Doha to Montreal, New York JFK and Washington.













Additionally the fleet operate one daily flight to London Heathrow as well as flights throughout the Far East. Between these turns the aircraft regularly operate shorthaul sectors within the Middle East.


April 2011 saw A7-BAN become the twenty-fifth Boeing 777 in fleet, the same month Qatar Airways announced orders for a further two Boeing 777-300Ers in an order with three Boeing 777-200 freighters.  At the 2011 Paris Air Show Qatar Airways announced orders for a further six Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. There is one Boeing 777-300ER of the pre-2001 orders, A7-BAS, that is still to be delivered.


The majority of the fleet operate in 42J/293Y configuration however two aircraft are configured 24J/356Y and operate mainly on the Doha - Manila route.
