Qatar Airways Airbus A330-200 Fleet List

Current Qatar Airways A330-200 Routes.

Qatar Airways received its first Airbus A330-200 in 2002 with the initial aircraft appearing in the original small logo/small oryx livery. The aircraft were immediately put to use on the airline’s flagship routes to Frankfurt, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle and later the Manchester and Hong Kong routes.

In June 2007 the Airbus A330-200s were used to launch a Doha - Geneva - Newark service.

The Airbus A330-200 fleet operates in both Two Class and Three Class configurations with minor differences in detail within those two fleets. Three Class aircraft operating two class routes with heavy loadings often see a cosmetic configuration used with the First Class cabin being utilised for high tier frequent flyers on Business Class tickets.

As well as new build aircraft Qatar Airways took two former Volare (Italy) aircraft on lease in 2004 that stayed in the fleet until 2009.


A7-ACJ delivered in 2006 was the first Airbus A330-200 to wear the then new large logo/large oryx livery. Repaints of the existing fleet started
